Before you order
Do I need a chip resetter?
No. Every cartridge ships with the chip already installed and set to full, so the printer reads it as a new tank on the first insert. Resetters are only needed for chipless refills.
Can I put edible ink in a printer that has printed regular ink?
Not safely. Standard ink leaves residue in the print head that can't be flushed out completely. Edible ink belongs in a printer that has only ever run edible ink — that's why our starter bundles ship with the printer included.
How long does edible ink last once it's open?
Six months in the printer if you print at least once a fortnight. Unopened and stored away from heat, a year from the date on the box.
What if my print head clogs?
Run a cleaning cycle first. If that doesn't clear it, our cleaning cartridges flush the line without a full head replacement — one set matches each colour position.
